TIP 1...When to Breathe (Duh...all the time)...and If you feel anxious, hyper or upset.......3 to 10 Intentional Breaths will calm you. If you feel tired, sleepy or blue........3 to 10 Intentional Breaths will energize you. Your breath always gives you exactly what you need.
TIP 2...How To Breathe to Calm or Energize Yourself Inhale quietly & steadily through the nose for a count of 4 (1-2-3-4). Allow the breath to go to your belly button & even down to your seat. Hold (suspend your breath gently) at the top of the inhale for a count of 2. Exhale gently through the mouth for a count of 4. Hold (suspend) at the bottom of the exhale for a count of 2. Repeat 3 times. Smile & go about your activities.
